Why You Should Rethink The Word "Competition"

I love competition. I stand with other women… And I stand with men too.. !

I love (gentle) challenges. It’s fun for me.

I am not talking about competition against others. This is harsh and stressful. I lived in that business world before.

I simply enjoy competition for myself. I love show up as the best version of who I am. This means trying new things out and getting out of my comfort zone.

When I explore new territories, I grow as a human being. I train my emotional muscles, so to speak.

When I test new things, I make mistakes. I do not like to make mistakes. They make me feel vulnerable. I often believed that being vulnerable was a weakness, being a victim. It’s not. But guess what…. I learn more from my mistakes and vulnerabilities than I do learn from my successes.

When I face my mistakes and I feel my vulnerability, I am courageous and I learnI do not wear a mask for myself (and for others). . I am in my authentic being. I know that, next time, I will do better and grow. And the more I grow, the more I add value and support others on their path when they need it. I create a virtuous circle.

When I experience new challenges, I also allow for self-care, pause and relaxing moments (going back to my comfort zone) as and when needed to recharge my resources. This is essential to my well-being. Stretching myself for “competition” is about finding the right balance and my natural flow. Today when I (gently) challenge myself (by remaining in tune with myself) I can see my creative being unfold for the benefit of those around me.

What about talents ? Often our talents come from what we perceive to be weaknesses while they are just great strengths. Depending on how you look at it. Other talents are so innate to us that we may not see the value we bring to others. Bringing our talents to our own light is empowerment. Developing self-awareness and loving our vulnerability are precious qualities which set us up to win. They show the way to uncover our precious talents.

Having walked the business and entrepreneurship path for 30 years, I know what it takes for women to succeed. That’s why I am more passionate than ever about helping other women entrepreneurs unleash their entrepreneurial talents, grow their business with ease and confidence, tap into their amazing creativity and intuitions to get better results.
